So, You Want to Become a Member of Our Chorus?
During your initial several visits with our Chorus, you will have received information and articles about our Chorus and Barbershop Harmony, as well as some current repertoire music. You also received some informational forms to complete so that we can get acquainted with you. You have become familiar by personal experience with our Barbershop Style Harmonies, a capella singing, and have worked on some songs right along with us. And maybe you've even learned a song or two. You will have also received information about Competitions, Shows, Performances, responsibilities, and the cost of Chorus membership.
When you feel comfortable with a piece of music, you will be asked to privately audition with our section leaders and director to see how you do singing your own part with the other three parts. After passing the audition and the voting of the Chorus members, your membership in our Chorus will begin.
